Watercolors by Joshy is an independent artist studio and clothing brand created by Vermont artist Joshy Pellerin, known for turning original hand-painted watercolor artwork into wearable art, apparel, and lifestyle goods.

Founded in 2020 during a season of personal and creative change, the project began as a painting practice and evolved into a distinct universe of Wearable Watercolors®—original watercolor paintings reimagined as retro artisan apparel and functional art. Each design starts as a watercolor on paper before being translated into garments, blankets, and accessories that balance nostalgia, humor, and craftsmanship.

Watercolors by Joshy specializes in hand-cut and sewn jackets, hoodies, woven blankets, shirts, and accessories, produced in collaboration with trusted U.S. manufacturing partners. Many woven pieces are crafted in North Carolina by Manual Woodworkers & Weavers, alongside other carefully selected partners chosen for their quality and attention to detail.

Joshy’s work blends pop culture, memory, and absurdist humor—transforming icons like Nicolas Cage, Danny DeVito, and The Dude into watercolor muses. The artwork captures the comfort of nostalgia filtered through color, wit, and a distinctly Vermont sense of weirdness.
