Living in Vermont the majority of my life I've had the privilege of being surrounded by beautiful nature and scenery at all times including the awesome site of Camel's Hump. Camel's hump is a gorgeous mountain, state park, and part of the Long Trail. It's a beautiful hike, and a gorgeous chunk of the skyline you can see from just about anywhere you're standing in Waterbury, where I live. I painted this pretty mountain scene for people to enjoy wherever they're at! And I painted the other side of it 'cause I don't get to see that side as much!
Camel's hump is depicted in late autumn, already snow capped with purple and blue mountainsides, while at the lower elevations there's pops of autumnal color where the last leaves of the season are still clinging on.
